“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” -Carl Rogers
My Approach
I believe therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of the experiences that have shaped you. I hope to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can show up as you are, explore what brings you to therapy, and feel supported along the way.
My approach is rooted in attachment-based and relational perspectives, with attention to culture, identity, and the mind-body connection. I’m interested in how our relationships, past experiences, cultural backgrounds, and the patterns we develop over time shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others. I bring curiosity and compassion to this work, creating space to explore these different layers of your experience and what feels most meaningful to you. When helpful, I also incorporate mindfulness and grounding practices to support greater awareness of the connection between the mind and body, informed in part by my yoga background.
I primarily work with adults navigating anxiety, identity development, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, and complex family dynamics. You may be feeling stuck in familiar patterns, adjusting to a new chapter, or simply wanting a better understanding of yourself and what you need.
At the heart of my work is the belief that you don’t have to navigate difficult experiences alone. I strive to create a supportive and nourishing space where we can make sense of what you’re experiencing together, with curiosity and compassion, and explore what might help you feel more connected to yourself and your life.
Attachment-Based
Exploring how relationships with caregivers during childhood can shape attachment patterns, emotional needs, and the ways we relate to ourselves and others as adults.
Relational
Exploring how relationships shape our experiences and patterns, while recognizing the therapeutic relationship as an important part of the work and a space to build trust, connection, and understanding.
Culture & Identity
Exploring how culture, identity, family, and lived experiences influence the way you see yourself and connect with others.
Mindfulness & Somatic Practices
Noticing how emotions and stress can show up in the body and incorporating mindfulness and grounding practices to build greater awareness and connection.
In-person and remote options
I offer in-person therapy in Pasadena and Echo Park, California, as well as online therapy throughout California. While I value the flexibility of virtual therapy, I especially enjoy the connection and presence of working together in person.
